November 24, 2005: NEW MUSIC UPDATE!
According to Bob Kingsley of the ACC (American Country Countdown) Top 40 countdown show Shania's new album will
be out in late, 2006. He said, "I spoke to Shania last week and she told me that she will have her album out latter
part of next year." This could be a November release due to the fact that Shania's last three albums have been November
releases (Come On Over, Up!, and Greatest Hits). Shania has yet to announce the style or multiple styles of music
featured on the album. It may be a 3 in 1 like Up! or a move back to more traditional country. Who knows?
However, Shania has released more traditional singles in the passed year ("I Ain't No Quitter" and "Don't"), so we'll see.

November 24, 2005: CHART UPDATE
Hey Shania fans, Here is this week's chart update: In week 13, Shania's single,"Shoes" falls 6
spots on the Billboard Hot Country Singles/Tracks chart to #54. No stations added "Shoes" this week. In it's 54th week
on the charts, Shania's "Greatest Hits" rises 20 spots to #176 on the Billboard top 200 and is stationary at #35
on Billboard's Top Country Albums. Shania's "Greatest Hits" saw a 20% increase in sales to 7,670 making its US sales
total: 3,276,753!

November 09, 2005: NOVEMBER MEANS HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO 3 KICK-A** ALBUMS!!
Shania's "Greatest Hits" has now charted in the Billboard top 200 for it's 52nd consecutive week. This means that
the 'hits' is now officially 1 year old! In light of this, we have decided to compile some cool 'birthday' information:
-10 days from now-"Up!" will turn 3 years old
-Today-"Greatest Hits" turned 1 year old
-5 days ago-"Come On Over" turned 8 years old
After their first full year of release each of these albums had sold:
-"Greatest Hits" - -3.3 million after 1 year of release
-"Up!" - -4.5 million after 1 year of release
-"Come On Over" - -6.0 million after 1 year of release
Congratulations to Shania and all the success She has had!

November 08, 2005: BE PATIENT FANS...I KNOW, IT'S HARD!!
You know, the down-side to being a Shania fan (if there is one) is that we have to wait so long for new Shania music.
Be patient fans. It's on its way. According to gactv.com, the new album should hit stores sometime in 2006.
Rumour has it that it will be a Spring release. Shania is currently writing and recording tracks for her new album right
now. We'll let you know the second we get any further details. Until then, just pop in "The Woman In Me,"
"Come On Over," or "Up!" and enjoy! Also, be sure to catch Shania at the CMA's on November 15. Go to our TV Appearances page for more dates you can catch Shania on 'the tube!'

October 25, 2005: SHOES BECOMES SHANIA'S 26th TOP 30!!
Pop-Country diva, Shania Twain, enjoys her 26th top 30 hit on Billboard's Hot Country Singles/Tracks
chart this week as "Shoes" jumps from last week's #32 to #29 this week! Congratulations to Shania! This also means that "Shoes"
will get an extensive edition to the amount of syndicated airplay Twain gets on Mediabase's daily reports.
And there's
more good news, four more songs are falling on Billboard (but still above SHOES on the charts) meaning a gain for "Shoes"
next week also.
However, there is bad news. "Shoes" is without a bullet this week meaning that it didn't gain any audience
since last week's Billboard report. If we want this single to live past the top 30 than we must REQUEST VERY HARD now.
Chart numbers for the Greatest Hits this week will be posted on Thursday.

5th consecutive album to be certified for sales over 2 million; and has become the 4th consecutive album to sell over 3
million copies. This week, the "Hits" passed the one million mark on the year. To celebrate this, I have decided
to post some cool stats:

the singles for the album is currently being recorded. It is titled, "Men Are Like Shoes." This could be
a preliminary title. We'll have to wait and see. This news was derived from Penny Foster (a popular back-up vocalist)
who mentioned that she would be joining Twain and Lange to do back-up vocals in Switzerland. The album is expected sometime
in 2006 (possible a Spring release).

July 21, 2005: "I Ain't No Quitter" Is #1 On CMT
Shania Twain's latest video/single, "I Ain't No Quitter, has reached #1 in just nine short weeks. This video has
become Shania's fastest riser to the #1 position. This is quite a feat for a single that radio shunned. What a
wonderful song. Go to the CMT.COM/ messageboards to vote for this single and keep it at #1. Go to our Links page to see where you can request this video. The "I Ain't No Quitter" single is also available at Amazon.com.
The cover-art for the single (shown to the left) was released just three weeks ago. "Quitter" peaked at #45 on Billboard's

Stetson Fragrances, the original icon of the American West, announced today an exciting exclusive agreement with country
music phenomenon, Shania Twain, to develop and market a fragrance line. Twain is a modern day symbol of what the Stetson Fragrances
embody -- independence, originality and accessibility.
"I wanted to partner with a company that would be able to express
my personality through their products, Stetson is a great fit for me to accomplish this," says Shania Twain. "Like a favorite
